This month CMS counselors will complete classroom suicide prevention and education lessons.  Students learn the warning signs of depression and what to do if they are concerned about themselves or a friend.


Oct. 24-28-  CMS will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  Students will have an opportunity to participate in a spirit week and will be reminded about making healthy, drug-free life choices.


Oct. 25, 26, and 27-  7th grade students will be participating in a presentation from Me360.  The presentation will include topics such as:  

  • Facts about drugs

  • Effects of alcohol and other drugs on the brain

  • How alcohol and other drugs affect users

  • Impact of substance abuse on communities and families

  • How to prevent problems in the future and making good choices


Family Night-  Nov. 8th-  See flyer for more information


Parent Meeting-  Nov. 10th-  CMS counselors are invited to join parents to share insight about the topic of social media.
